Revetment House joins LeFrak Jersey City Masterplan

Revetment House is the latest collaboration of Northern Architectural Systems and the LeFrak Organization. The preeminent, family-owned property company has dramatically changed the landscape in Jersey City, NJ with a 600-acre master-planned, mixed-use community aptly named Newport.
The Revetment House is a 6 story, a 163-unit building in the Hamilton Park area of Jersey City. It’s the sister building to the Embankment House with both structures sitting atop a historic railroad embankment once operated by the Pennsylvania Railroad.
Northern custom modified its energy-efficient Series 1800 window system to give HLW International the particular look of a retrofit historic warehouse or manufacturing facility. Northern provided over 5,500 fixed, project-in & project-out windows and PTAC grills.
Northern and LeFrak have worked together before including the complete re-skin of the 1960’s LeFrak Tower in Rego Park, Queens which is now known as The Contour.
And the replacement of over 10,000 windows at the Gateway | Battery Park City in lower Manhattan alongside the Hudson River.
